Re: Track map generator

Yes, I do know, although everyone I have tried to help acquire it has not been successful yet. atomic7732 04:58, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!!!

Thanks for removing that "harmful" statement. I didn't even give that user an warnings before today, and he still attacked me for no reason at all. Thanks again, for removing that vandalist statement. I really appreciate your help. 72.197.253.243 (talk) 22:22, 22 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What are you talking about? ----Bruvtakesover (talk!) 22:35, 22 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Mediterranean Tropical Cyclones

About using forums as refs, well I seriously already knew about that. But I had a different reason for using that website as a ref link. You see, INVEST 99L has no picture, and that website has an actual picture of the storm (even though I don't know where the heck they got the image from). Well, I was thinking, one of you users (since I am not actually a user myself) could post that image on Wikipedia, right in the 2010s Section. Then, a lot more people would know what the storm looked like. The point is, I only intended that website to be used as a picture reference, and you know, that sort of thing. Anyways, sorry for the misunderstanding. I hope that you understand my motive now. 72.197.253.243 (talk) 23:07, 22 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Citations

Hi, regarding your edit at Kirriemuir here, the accessdate field of citations is the date when you read/introduced the reference to the article rather than the publication date. A nice trick to make citations more readable is to put the fields on new lines (wiki markup doesn't read white space) So rather than:
{{cite news|last=Marjory Inglis|title='A complete swamp' — flooding forces cancellation of Kirriemuir music event Live In The Den|url=http://www.thecourier.co.uk/News/Angus/article/16658/a-complete-swamp-flooding-forces-cancellation-of-kirriemuir-music-event-live-in-the-den.html|accessdate=22 August 2011|newspaper=The Courier|date=22 August 2011}}
you'd have:
{{cite news
| last = Inglis
| first = Marjory
| title = 'A complete swamp' — flooding forces cancellation of Kirriemuir music event Live In The Den
| url = http://www.thecourier.co.uk/News/Angus/article/16658/a-complete-swamp-flooding-forces-cancellation-of-kirriemuir-music-event-live-in-the-den.html
| accessdate = 22 August 2011
| newspaper = The Courier
| date = 22 August 2011}}

Thanks. ----Bruvtakesover (talk!) 17:29, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That probably didn't help so much, the way it was auto formatted by the wiki software... should work now!Catfish Jim and the soapdish 17:31, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
But still, thanks for pointing that out. ----Bruvtakesover (talk!) 20:29, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
