Hello Kierzek! Could you explain to Anmccaff that Feder did not study "humainities". Evidently, Feder did not study "humainities" (does this word even exist in English?), but attended the "Humanistisches Gymnasium" in Ansbach. --Friedolf (talk) 04:39, 18 May 2017 (UTC)
- My apolgies for not catching the misspelling, but a correct translation does not, in this case, simply involve using the cognate word. Anmccaff (talk) 05:08, 18 May 2017 (UTC)
- I don't have this article on my watchlist anymore; here is what I can tell you. He passed his exams as an engineer in 1905. He later turned to political economics.(Snyder, "Encyclopedia of the Third Reich" (1994), p. 90) He was a civil engineer (Zentner & Bedurftig, "The Encyclopedia of the Third Reich" (1991), p. 259). He became active in economic, racial (anti-semitic) and political affairs of Germany. He was considered an "economic expert for the NSDAP". He represented the NSDAP (in East Prussia) in the Reichstag from 1924 to 1936. Feder was state secretary in the Reich Economics Ministry from 1933 to 1934. And also Reich Commissioner for Housing for 1934 to 1935. He began to fall out of favor when Strasser did and then more so after Hitler needed the corporate and business leaders support and wanted to re-arm Germany. He lastly held a position as a professor at the Berlin Technical College in 1936. (Zentner & Bedurftig, "The Encyclopedia of the Third Reich" (1991), p. 259)
- The claim should be RS cited or removed when challenged. I added a cn note. I checked German Wikipedia and they do not say, only that he studied and passed his "Abitur" exam and then went on in school. Kierzek (talk) 12:07, 18 May 2017 (UTC)
- I adjusted it. Besides Classical gymnasium, which I used on the assumption that "gymnasium" is clear in the context. Another possible equivalent is classical high school . DGG ( talk ) 20:24, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks, DGG. Kierzek (talk) 21:14, 9 June 2017 (UTC)

Hi Kierzek -- Recently I started editing Das Schwarze Korps but when I look at the page, it appears it could stand to be better organized, and both the flow and chronology are less than stellar. A fresh set of editorial eyes would be helpful when you get a chance. Perhaps I had too many books on my desk when I was editing that page...I'm not sure what my problem was.--Obenritter (talk) 23:31, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
- No problem. I will have a look at it later; may have to be tomorrow, but I will get to it. Cheers, Kierzek (talk) 01:20, 16 June 2017 (UTC)
- Done. Cheers, Kierzek (talk) 22:26, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
- Nice tweaks. Danke. --Obenritter (talk) 16:14, 18 June 2017 (UTC)

FA
[edit]Hi Kierzek, Excellent work on copyediting the FA article. It really needed it. scope_creep (talk) 15:18, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
- You're welcome; an interesting article you wrote. Kierzek (talk) 17:40, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks. I was trying to address a bias in WP, of all allies, and no axis in WW2. Not one piece of information, that was not the allies. Thank for that bit, double thanks. Although I noticed that you changed some of your own edits, from one day to the next. I have this other article, Pers Z S. Once you read it, you will become part of the very select group of people, around 12 folk in the world, who know about it, although I have not looked at the stats of people reading it. Any chance of doing a copy-edit on it. It has one section left. I noticed when was looking at the FA article, I misspelled Göring that whole time. I can't believe it. You think it is perfect. scope_creep (talk) 21:51, 28 June 2017 (UTC)
- I will have a look at the other article when I can, soon. As far as changing some of my "own edits", yeah, it happens when one is fine tuning a sentence or performing edits for concision. Cheers, Kierzek (talk) 14:22, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
