Request reason:
I seem to be unable to email directly to Salvidrim! who turned down my prior unblock appeal so I will post here: Dear Benoit, In response to my appeal against being blocked you wrote: “No appeal from you will be considered until you discuss your own behaviour and convince us that you know why it was innappropriate, and convince us that you will not continue.” The gist of my appeal was that my behaviour was not inappropriate at all. I imagine that you are very busy, and that you did not read it very well. However, from my perspective the response is that I must confess my sin before I can humbly beg for redemption. This lies somewhere between being Kafkaesque and the childish petulance of someone who says: “If you don't know what you have done wrong, I am not going to tell you.” Need I remind you that blocking policy states: “Before a block is imposed, efforts should be made to educate users about Wikipedia policies and guidelines, and to warn them when their behavior conflicts with these. Welcome newcomers, do not bite them, and assume that most people who work on the project are trying to help it, not hurt it. Newcomers should make an effort to learn about our policies and guidelines so that they can learn how to avoid making mistakes.” Not only did Nick-D fail to communicate to me in any way before blocking me, but your actions in refusing my appeal without any attempt to argue the merits of the block perpetuate this travesty. I was blocked for a single act. It must be that act, because that is the only edit I have ever performed on Wikipedia. Please explain how this act was one of disruption or destruction. All I did was to revert a page back to the form it had before Nick-D unilaterally deleted two-thirds of the content.
Decline reason:
No, you may not continue to edit while your original account is blocked. You will need to use that account for appeals. Kuru (talk) 11:42, 1 June 2015 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again.
