Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Battle of Callinicum, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. Abhijay (☎ Talk) (✐ Deeds) 10:38, 8 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Battle of the Marshes. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. NortyNort (Holla) 01:28, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Al-Jazari. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Magog the Ogre (talk) 02:08, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for edit warring, as you did at Al-Jazari. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Magog the Ogre (talk) 23:55, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You've only just been unblocked for edit-warring at Al-Jazari. Please don't start doing it again. Thanks. Scopecreep (talk) 14:16, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Median Empire. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. The Median Empire was not a Kurdish dynasty, please don't add this to the article again. Dougweller (talk) 16:40, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Median Empire, you may be blocked from editing. This seems to be your pov, but it isn't backed by any reliable sources or our article on the Kurdish people. Dougweller (talk) 18:27, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Our articles

[edit]

Reflect what is said about the subject by what we call reliable sources, see WP:VERIFY and WP:RS. In the case of Median Empire this basically means academic sources. The first part of an article we call the lead, and it is a summary of the article - see WP:LEAD. The reason that the article doesn't say that the Median Empire was a Kurdish dynasty is simple - reliable sources don't back up that claim. It's not in the article, it has no reliable sources, so it certainly doesn't belong in the lead. I'm explaining this to you so that you will understand and in the hope that you won't continue to add it there, as if you do you are likely to end up blocked from editing. Dougweller (talk) 07:56, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Median Empire shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Ab hijay  08:20, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Medes. Ankit MaityTalkContribs 08:25, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A complaint has been filed about your edits of Median Empire

Kiaxar, please see WP:AN3#User:Kiaxar reported by User:Abhijay (Result: ). You may respond there if you wish. There is a risk that you may be blocked. EdJohnston (talk) 12:57, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with this report. You've been warned consistently that edit warring is not OK, and that you should pursue other options listed at WP:DR. Please stop doing this immediately or I will block your account for a long time. Magog the Ogre (talk) 21:33, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Non-stop edit warring and nationalist attacks

[edit]
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for edit warring.

Edit warring at Median Empire and personal attacks in edit summaries. The complete report of this case is at WP:AN3#User:Kiaxar reported by User:Abhijay (Result: 1 week). One of your edit summaries was "the place name was amida or Diyarbakır ,which is the city in the south east turkey ,so please stop your cultural stealing ,we have seen your pan arab nationalists heritage robbery before."

You should decide whether Wikipedia is a suitable outlet for your editing interests. A personal blog where you could express your own opinions freely could be more to your taste. If you violate policy again, your next block may be indefinite. EdJohnston (talk) 04:16, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I would prefer you go through this which will hopefully make you understand what you did.--Ankit MaityTalkContribs 12:15, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently he doesn't understand: [1] Constantine 11:45, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
46.100.177.101 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) represents block evasion by Kiaxar so it has also been blocked. The two have have made identical changes at Battle of the Cilician Gates. EdJohnston (talk) 13:37, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've blocked your account for two years. Your edits will be seen and reverted on sight. If you wish at any point to come back and edit productively without the WP:BATTLEGROUND mentality and personal attacks, please come back to this account and request unblock. I'm hoping that in the two years I've given you, you can grow up and stop acting like a child. Magog the Ogre (talk) 16:56, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your block has now been extended to an indefinite length due to your continued sockpuppetry. If you wish to be unblocked and legitimately edit, stop immediately, as every sockpuppet you create significantly lessens the chance you will be unblocked. Furthermore, it may result in the blocking of your network range, which could impact other users. Hersfold (t/a/c) 18:00, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
