Speedy deletion nomination of M.C. Mack

[edit]

Hello Kevsil616,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged M.C. Mack for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Ueutyi (talk) 04:39, 3 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Help with some issues on your pages

[edit]

Kev, the talk page where I posted this will likely be deleted shortly since the article it goes with has been removed, so I'm copying it here. This links to some of the Wikipedia policies that're at odds, and they explain what you can do to fix your pages so they're accepted:

It's nothing personal & not a matter of me deciding, it's Wikipedia's policies. First, you say he's your client, which is where you should see WP:COI. Then as far as what makes someone notable enough you should see WP:Notability. For pages on people rather than just their works you should also see WP:BLP. Those will help you understand how to better make pages. First thing would be to declare any conflicts of interest (noted how on the page I linked) and then find reliable sources (see WP:RS for examples) that establish why the person and recordings are notable. You can visit the Teahouse for more help, too.

I understand what you're trying to do, I'm linking this stuff to help. There've been other artists who've redone their pages per the rules and had them accepted. Check those pages out, and shout if you need help. JamesG5 (talk) 15:50, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

User:JamesG5, I understand. It is nothing personal and my comments were not directed at you as an individual, but at Wikipedia itself. I appreciate you linking these articles on here and definitely will be taking a look and reorganizing the pages more within Wikipedia's guidelines. Thank you so much, kevsil616 (talk) 16:00, 5 December 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.150.202.42 (talk) [reply]
