E-Volunteering

[edit]

Hi Kevin. I was wondering if you were still working on the Bust of Cleopatra article or anything else for the ROM E-Volunteering project. I am taking over the project from Ryan and I am trying to gauge who is currently working on what. Thank you so much for the volunteering you have done so far we really appreciate it! Could you also start logging your hours? It would be extremely helpful! Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks MJMcGowan (talk) 18:18, 9 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi MJMcGowan I've completed my research on my iconic object and am now in the phase of compiling my research onto the Bust of Cleopatra page. Congratulations on the internship, Ryan is a great person to be working with. I've been logging my hours since day one as per request of Ryan. Any other questions please forward to my personal email account of kevindinnocenzo@gmail.com. Thanks and Cheers

Thanks for the update User:KevinDInno. I was just confused because your hours are not logged on your user page. Do you have a rough estimate of the number of hours you are at? I am just trying to gauge the total amount of hours logged by the project. I will e-mail you if I need anything else. Thanks Again! MJMcGowan (talk) 18:48, 10 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello ROM E-Volunteer, We have moved to a different wiki project which can be found here: Wikipedia:GLAM/ROM. If you would like to continue contributing to ROM based wikipedia articles please feel free to add yourself to our member list. We will no longer be referring to our project as e-volunteering. Instead, users can feel free to contribute to articles listed under the "tasks" tab. Feel free to contact me via the my talk page with any questions. Thanks --MJMcGowan (talk) 20:00, 27 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hello, KevinDInno, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for helping us build a great free encyclopedia. We have five basic principles, but other than that, we advise that you be bold and edit. If you ever have any questions or need help, feel free to leave a message at the help desk, and other Wikipedia editors will be happy to assist you.

Thanks again and congratulations on becoming a Wikipedian!

P.S. New discussion threads for you will appear at the bottom of this page.

December 2014

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Royal Ontario Museum, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 03:13, 1 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
