Hello, I'm Dreamy Jazz. I noticed that you made a change to an article, SpaceGhostPurrp, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 21:40, 4 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I do not take kindly to your email.

[edit]

I do not take kindly to being told to 'fuck off', especially not when over email. Please refrain from using that language. I reverted your edits as it was flawed. You:

  • Put an image URL as the infobox lead, which does not work
  • Had several unsourced claims

I will remove the offending sections, leaving the parts which are ok. Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 22:03, 4 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for apologising for your comments.

When adding content to Wikipedia articles there are some guidelines that you need to follow and not following them can get the content you added reverted. In the case of spaceghostpurrp, the person who has that professional name is a living person. This means that any content added must be in line with the WP:BLP policy. Also when adding information to any article, it is important to WP:CITE the information you add. Without citing your sources, it can be seen as original research which is against our policies.

Notable singles do need sourcing, as you need to prove that they are notable. You can reference the list by looking for Top 50s lists with them in or looking at the charts. I do understand that for this article it can be hard to find sources, but if you cannot find the sources, I would say that these singles are then not notable, as notability is not relative to each artist. I quote "nothing here suggests that these are notable. No WP:SECONDARY references, or any kind of reference." from Binksternet, sums this up.

I will provide some links to our policies below. Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 08:30, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hello, Kese123, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Here are a few reasons that I undid your edits to SpaceGhostPurrp

References

[edit]

I undid your edit to SpaceGhostPurrp as the references you added were non-functional. Just adding the text "[8]" does not make a functional footnote. Please see help:referencing for beginners. To "reuse" a citation in more then one place, use "named references" see wp:NAMEDREFS Please check your edit with wp:Show preview before you click on "Publish changes".
