October 2008

[edit]

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Ravi Verma V. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. Thank you. Largest city in Kerala

[edit]

I have reverted your entry in the Kochi page. Reason: Kochi is the largest UA (urban agglomeration) in Kerala. But if you consider the city alone, it is the second largest in Kerala.

  • The area of Kochi city is 94.88 km² (37 sq mi)
  • Area of Thiruvananthapuram city is 141.74 km² (55 sq mi)
  • Kochi city population =~ 564,589 (2001)
  • Thiruvananthapuram Population =~ 744,739 (2001)

Please see the Kerala talk page for details. Cheers, -- Rajith Mohan (Talk to me..) 04:17, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Glimpses-thirukochi1.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. J Milburn (talk) 11:55, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Map of Kingdom of Perumpadappu

[edit]

Sir,

The map produced in the article Kingdom of Cochin is accurate. Please don't revert my edits without further talks here.

  • The map is of 12th century. It is based on facts and is not misleading.
  • Kayamkulam, Ambalapuzha and Attingal were not part of the Kingdom of Permpadappu in the 12th century.
  • The map does not glorify Venadu, as it is not shown in the chart.

You can see maps here;

Pls explain your arguements here before further editing in the artcile.
