Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, Kepler Comms. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Kepler BBC, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. You seem to be employed by the club(in their "comms" department) so that makes you a paid editor, it does not require specific payment for edits. Please specifically tell what will change about how you contributions about your club, and tell if there are topics unrelated to your club that you might edit about as a general contributor. We don't need you to promise you will edit with "high quality" and "adding value", just tell us what you want to edit.

If unblocked, I will contribute thoughtfully by focusing on high-quality, neutral, and well-sourced content that adds value to the community. I apologize for not following the editing policies. I understand, take full responsibility and assure you it won’t happen again. As part of the Club’s communications team, my intent wasn’t to promote the Club but simply to update accurate information, like adding the official logo, correct colors, jerseys and news on the new gymnasium. I’m new to this editing platform and wasn’t familiar with the guidelines. Moving forward, I’ll only update existing, factual information, as some details, like the colors and the Gymnasium construction were outdated. If getting back the previous username, I’ll go with Accuracy2024.
