Welcome!

Hello, Keneiwe, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for helping us build a great free encyclopedia. We have five basic principles, but other than that, we advise that you be bold and edit. If you ever have any questions or need help, feel free to leave a message at the help desk, and other Wikipedia editors will be happy to assist you.

Thanks again and congratulations on becoming a Wikipedian!

P.S. New discussion threads for you will appear at the bottom of this page.

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Westrand, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.linkedin.com/company/westsidefm.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) I am the one who created that page, it's our organizations page, please accept the creation of our city.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Westrand requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.linkedin.com/company/westsidefm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article was a copyright violation. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Also note that the page says By using this site, you agree to LinkedIn's terms of use. Commercial use of this site without express authorization is prohibited. Pages posted here must be available for any purpose, including commercial, so you are infringing LinkedIn's terms anyway.

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Kagiso. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. HelenOnline 09:18, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There is already an article for West Rand District Municipality. Please do not add spam links to it, they will also be removed and your account may be blocked by an administrator if you persist with disruptive editing. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not an advertising platform. HelenOnline 13:33, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thats our page too it was created by us, the copyright is ours.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Spidersweb, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. QVVERTYVS (hm?) 10:25, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

  1. If you continue to try to use Wikipedia for promotion, you will continue to be blocked, no matter what username you use. Wikipedia is not a medium for promotion of any sort.
  2. You have been repeatedly given links to instructions on how to donate copyright material. You have chosen to ignore those instructions.
  3. Simply ignoring a block and creating new accounts to evade it is not acceptable, and every time you do it your new account will be blocked, and any pages it created will be deleted.
  4. Since you have posted spam on this page, and you have a history of posting talk page spam while blocked, your talk page access will be removed. That won't interfere with any legitimate editing anyway, since any unblock request must come from your original account, not this one.
