Hello, I'm Cassiopeia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Coffee production in Thailand, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Cassiopeia talk 08:55, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Julietdeltalima. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Chiang Mai seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please read MOS:PEACOCK and associated sections of Wikipedia's manual of style. We do not editorialize in Wikipedia's voice about whether anything is a "hotspot", or "beautiful", or "delicious". This is not a travel blog. Please edit your prior contributions accordingly. Thanks. Julietdeltalima (talk) 14:37, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Hat Yai. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Please read MOS:YOU. Wikipedia articles ARE NOT TRAVEL BLOGS. There should never be directions to the reader in the second person phrased in Wikipedia's voice. Please discuss this with the editors at WP:TEAHOUSE. Thanks. Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, CMD (talk) 05:24, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without evidence of permission. Information icon Hello, Kendrajordan. We welcome your contributions, but it appears as if your primary purpose on Wikipedia is to add citations to sources you may be affiliated with.

Editing in this way is a violation of the policy against using Wikipedia for promotion and is a form of conflict of interest. The editing community considers excessive self-citing to be a form of spamming on Wikipedia (WP:REFSPAM); the edits will be reviewed and the citations removed where it was not appropriate to add them.

If you wish to continue contributing, please first consider citing other reliable secondary sources. If you wish to cite sources for which you may have a conflict of interest, please start a new section on the article's talk page and add {{Edit COI}} to ask a volunteer to review whether or not the citation should be added. Paul_012 (talk) 04:16, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. Paul_012 (talk) 11:54, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm sorry, I am new to Wikipedia. I'm just wondering, can I not add or edit information even from a reliable blog or article? What do I need to do to be unblocked, and is it possible to follow Wikipedia's guidelines if I am adding or editing based on a reliable reference? Also, what makes the reference I put not considered reliable? Kendrajordan (talk) 07:20, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Jake Wartenberg (talk) 15:34, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is unfortunately not the place to promote your website. Please see our policies on SPAM and COI. In order to be unblocked, you would need to indicate that you no longer intend to add text from or links to your website. Jake Wartenberg (talk) 13:26, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And, more importantly, your edits are blatant copyright violations: you are cutting and pasting content into Wikipedia from copyrighted works. This is absolutely not ever acceptable, even if your edits were otherwise appropriate, which they are not; they are full of MOS:PEACOCK unencyclopedic language with no place in an encyclopedia. This fact alone demonstrates why your sources are unreliable; they are promotional, not factual in a manner with editorial control being exerted. Julietdeltalima (talk) 15:15, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
