Wind Speeds

[edit]

Hello,

Please do not change the wind speeds on the various tropical cyclone articles from their current values. We only use wind speeds from the official warning centers in the various regions (ex: the India Meteorological Department in the North Indian Ocean, The Australian Bureau of Meteorology in the Australian region, etc.) and those were the officially reported values.

Thanks, — Iunetalk 21:02, 16 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Hurricane Patricia. You've already been told to refrain from inserting values contrary to those said by the Regional Specialized Meteorological Center. Original research is not acceptable. This is because you have continued to alter storm intensity numbers despite the three warnings above.--Jasper Deng (talk) 20:01, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Do not change the strength of storms without providing a reliable source to justify the change. And when other editors raise issues with your edits, please respond to them on your user talk page or article talk pages. Liz Read! Talk! 22:18, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
