County templates
The term 'Unincorporated CDPs' may be a bit redundant redundant, since all Census Designated Places are unincorporated. Perhaps the labels should be [[census-designated place|CDPs]] and [[unincorporated area|Other]]. --Buaidh (talk) 18:14, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- Fine with me. But I don't plan to go through and change them. -- Ken g6 (talk) 18:38, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
How do you set the county templates to default expanded? --Buaidh (talk) 18:22, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- How do I do it? By removing the Colorado template. :)
- Off the top of my head, I don't know another way. -- Ken g6 (talk) 18:38, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
I tried a variety of tricks to no avail. Thanks, anyway. --Buaidh (talk) 18:50, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
Municipalities in multiple counties
When a municipality extends into more than one county, I prefer to list the counties in decreasing order of their share of the municipal population. Thus, I describe Aurora, Colorado, as being located in Arapahoe County, Adams County, and Douglas County. The latest U.S. Census Bureau estimates of Colorado population by municipality and county can be found at Colorado Subcounty Population Estimates: April 1, 2000 to July 1, 2006. --Buaidh (talk) 21:47, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
CDPs
As someone who has worked with county navboxes, you may find pages 1 and 2 interesting. I'd appreciate your input. Nyttend (talk) 18:31, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
Louisville, Colorado
Ken, a few months ago you indicated some POV concerns about Louisville, Colorado. Another editor, User:Brainerror138 had some concrete suggestions for repair. I have attempted to fix all of these problems. To date, no one else has evaluated the article, or commented one way or the other. Brainerror seems no longer to be contributing. Would you please revisit the article and, if you think the issue has been resolved, remove the NPOV flag. Thanks! — Aetheling (talk) 03:36, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- It looks good to me, but I'm not the one who put the POV box there; I just started the discussion. I'll forward your message on to NE2, and we'll see what he says, if anything.
- Thanks! -- Ken g6 (talk) 18:11, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
