Welcome![edit]

Hello, Kemurphy, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Improving Crop diversity[edit]

Hi, I see you've been assigned Crop diversity as part of your Wikipedia student project. I note also that you've made several attempts to improve the article, and that these have largely been undone by other editors. It may also be worth pointing out that the article has been brought to "Good Article" status, meaning that it has passed an independent review, and in the reviewer's opinion it has a clear, logical structure, is properly cited to reliable sources, and so on. That means that while it can certainly be improved, such improvements will have to be carefully thought out, well structured, and of course properly sourced. Much the best way to achieve this will be to discuss proposed changes on the article's talk page, so that the rest of us can reach agreement on planned improvements. All the best, Chiswick Chap (talk) 07:02, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
