User talk:Kelt at Falcon
Late reply, but I don't exactly check wiki that much.
The laptop model I had inserted has been on the page since 2008? At the time I was told that no one at Falcon was allowed to edit the page or add anything to it - that only a third party could add or edit the page. I was not told why. So my laptop has sat on the wiki page for over a decade as the only example of the custom paint that Falcon could do. Equally my laptop was never added to the gallery on the website, so it was a small thing to me that it was on the wiki. The photos were also taken by the photographer at Falcon at the time - thus why they were so good.
Yes that is/was my personal laptop I bought for college in 2008. The image on the lid was a design I created and asked to be brushed onto the lid. There was a small issue with the color choices I wanted plus the color of the image... but it came out well. I thoroughly enjoyed the laptop for as long as it ran. Currently the GPU has failed and it requires a NLA part to operate again and they run about 500 dollars for a used part that might not last, so it has been sitting in storage since. I would love to get it running again, but spending 500 on a NLA part isn't at the top of my list.
I can't disagree with my laptop being an older model, by a decade, and having newer models present would be a sound idea business wise. I've simply had my laptop visible on the wiki page for the last decade lol
