Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text at the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ponyobons mots 15:52, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Your reason here : As an unregistered user, I was disputing a genre edit with another editor. After making an edit, i received auto prompts to register and decided to do so. After my first submissions as a registered user, the other editor had my former IP address temporarily blocked with a Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents report that he felt I was edit warring. My new account was then blocked as a suspected sockpuppet account. I was not intending to act as a sockpuppet, but seeking to shift all my editing activities over to a registered account. Thanks for looking at this.

Decline reason:

If I am reading this right, that means you should be blocked until the IP block is over? I suggest you wait until 30 August, and then re-apply for an unblock. PhilKnight (talk) 07:08, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Ponyo, PhilKnight In general there's a preference for users to register and edit. In this case it's preferable for the editor to come back as a registered user rather than as an IP. Can I suggest applying the IP's block to the account, i.e. a pblock on Anohni until 05:29, 30 August 2023? Thanks, Cabayi (talk) 07:14, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Didn't notice this was a partial block, my mistake. Yes, we could just apply the partial block to the account. The partial block could be made indefinite. Ponyo, are you okay with this? PhilKnight (talk) 08:16, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Cabayi and PhilKnight: I admit that I struggled with determining the best way to block KeleEstuary, taking into account the 3-month pblock on the IP but also the obvious block evasion. Any modifications you think should be made are fine by me.-- Ponyobons mots 16:14, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Ponyo, I have converted the block to an indefinite partial block of Anohni. PhilKnight (talk) 17:11, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
KeleEstuary - you are now free to edit every page except Anohni. This restriction does not have an end date. PhilKnight (talk) 17:17, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thankyou. KeleEstuary (talk) 23:40, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
