Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Barynya has been reverted.
Your edit here to Barynya was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=At13wrGSi4A&feature=emb_logo) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. music or video) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 20:12, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Discretionary sanctions alert

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Eastern Europe or the Balkans. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

--Ymblanter (talk) 19:17, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, if you do not understand the policies, it might be a good idea to stop reverting and read them. Edit-warring is not a valid dispute resolution avenue here.--Ymblanter (talk) 19:17, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Official

[edit]

Hi, can you show me a source which shows Russia is officially "the heir to the soviet union" in sporting matters ? IOC and international federations apparently don't have the same idea. Mohsen1248 (talk) 16:19, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

for example you should check All-time Olympic Games medal table, if you want to change something, that should be the first page you should edit. Mohsen1248 (talk) 16:19, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Mohsen1248: yeah just scroll down a little bit on that same page.
really ? the main table shows Russia and Soviet Union separately, FIBA Basketball World Cup, UEFA European Championship, World Men's Handball Championship and all other sports show URS and RUS separately. you are going to edit them all? and you can't just revert things, there are rules in wikipedia. more than 3 in less than 24 hours means suspension, just wanted to let you know.Mohsen1248 (talk) 16:46, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Mohsen1248: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/List_of_IIHF_World_Championship_medalists here f.e they are shown together
That's one example. maybe IIHF considers them together, I don't follow that sport. but I gave you several sports with different idea, are you going to edit them all? football, handball, basketball, volleyball. all major summer team sports. Mohsen1248 (talk) 18:27, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Mohsen1248: i think you dont get the point. Russia is the only and official heir to the soviet union. It took everything on itself. All soviet debt was lying on russia. Non of the other 14 republics had any debt after the dissoulution. It got the entire nuclear arsenal. It took the place in the United Nations Security Council. It was the official agreement after the dissoulution signed by every other republic and ratified by the UN that Soviet Union= Russia.
Instead of giving political speeches which doesn't matter in this case, give me a source that sport organizations consider Russia as the "heir" of the Soviet Union achievements. and I still wonder why you didn't edit those pages I gave to you. Handball is different than Wrestling? Mohsen1248 (talk) 00:14, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Mohsen1248: did not have the time yet :)

Edit-warring on Sherp

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Sherp shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. —Michael Z. 14:53, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Edit-warring on Sherp

[edit]

Hi. You have violated the 3rr rule, and in an article that you have been informed is under discretionary sanctions. You can be blocked from editing by any uninvolved editors. Please find consensus on the talk page before making any more edits there. If that fails, try WP:Dispute resolution. —Michael Z. 14:53, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31h for edit-warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  User:Ymblanter (talk) 12:57, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock

[edit]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I was blocked unjustified by Ymblanter. He stated no reason why i should be blocked. Furthermore, apparently, even the Admin did not read my edits. Also apparently the user which was already warned multiple times for disruptive editing and reverted my RESONABLE edits without any reason is not getting finally blocked.Kedr26 (talk) 12:43, 16 March 2021 (UTC)

Decline reason:

It is not true that you were given no reason. You were clearly told you were blocked for violating WP:EW. As you have not addressed this in your unblock request, there are no grounds to lift your block. Yamla (talk) 13:01, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule, as you did at Wrestling World Cup. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Alex Bakharev (talk) 05:14, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You seems to edit war on many articles. Consider editing cooperatively arguing for your edits on the article's talk pages or use other forms of WP:DR. Consider this block as the last warning Alex Bakharev (talk) 05:17, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Kram333r

[edit]

Hello! I recently discovered that user Kram333r undoes some of your edits for no reason. I remind you that you have the right to send a request to the page Wikipedia:Requests for administrator attention, if you do not agree with its actions. Noraskulk (talk) 10:56, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No, I actually undid his edits to recover articles from vandalism. For example, you tried to vandalize this article when consensus was reached. This article was also vandalized by you. --Kram333r (talk) 11:32, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
