License tagging for File:NathanBarr.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:NathanBarr.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 22:07, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:NathanBarr1.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Musamies (talk) 19:01, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Lisbeth performing in Madrid.gif

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Lisbeth performing in Madrid.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 04:08, 21 August 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rockfang (talk) 04:08, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your addition to Nathan Barr has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. As a courtesy...possible WP:COPYVIO at James Dooley (composer)

[edit]

Hello. As the main editor/contributor to James Dooley (composer), I thought I'd let you know that I have placed a copyright violation tag on the article. Although your account did not add the copyrighted text, you seem to have a interest in the page, since the majority of the edits on the page were by you. Just wanted to let you know, in case you want to address the problem yourself. More information can be found in the {{copyvio}} tag which is on the top of the article. Note that no action is needed on your part, this is just a courtesy notification. Thanks! --Logical Fuzz (talk) 21:33, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
