File source problem with File:Autar Kaw.jpg[edit]

If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Got it. Did not think about the google ads. Can I add the direct simulation links. I understand that, and I saw you say that somewhere else, and as a university professor I know that you know this--but the fact remains that these videos are not peer-reviewed like journal articles are, they're purely a titre personnel, and thus they fall foul of WP:EL, specifically WP:NOBLOGS--you may well be an expert, but those links do not make that clear in an objective and verifiable way. In addition, I'm not even bothered by the ads so much; the "promotion" problem is not a financial matter. Linking your own videos is drawing attention to your own videos, to put it simply. June 2022[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Secant method. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. You said, "I have filed a dispute resolution!", but a. that is not a good excuse to continue edit warring; b. you haven't even commented on the talk page, or the editor's talk page; c. you have not posted at Dispute resolution. I am trying my best to be informative. If one is editing someone else's contribution, be courteous and not simply dismissive. That does not help anyone. I will try one more time to make the example somewhere in between what I think is right and what D.Lazarus suggests. But it is all subjective.
