Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, KatnisLive. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 14:31, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Techie
Thank you for the information about COI, and for the opportunity to fix the issues at hand. Revision will be focused on deleting any/all sentences that could be construed as promoting, publicising, or advertising. And addition of in-depth facts about the notable musicians, who make the label notable, with inclusion of the references from the newspapers, magazines, and other quotable sources. Factual and accurate information only.
After the corrected article is published, the public contributors and editors will just add to it over the years.
'edit COI' template will be used for the edit, as per your suggestion and request. Thank you again. KatnisLive KatnisLive (talk) 09:22, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You still have not declared your COI on your user page. See Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI. You are required to follow those instructions and not directly edit pages with which you have a COI, and only use the {{edit COI}} on those pages as a means of getting a change made. If you do not comply, an admin will block you shortly. thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 03:17, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Techie,
Whenever I do the edit, I will certainly follow the COI regulations. Many unexpected work and life interruptions this week. Hope to get to it before Monday. Not enough hours in a day.
Cheers, KatnisLive KatnisLive (talk) 11:08, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
