Addition of names to a long list at Karlal

[edit]

Dear User:Karlal, regarding my previous edits of the page Karlal on Wikipedia and various notes left on the article's Talk page, at the time, it seems that you have reverted some of my edits and added or re-added a long list of names of 'notable people' of this tribe to this article again. I think it would be a good and reasonable idea to discuss this as I removed these names because (a) I believed that most of them did not meet Wikipedia notability standards and were simply added as a vanity/self or tribal prmotion and (b) since Wikipedia advises that it is 'Not A Directory' and such lists are actively discouraged. Therefore, it is probably better that we only retain those names and people therein that not only evince notability by Wiki standards but also, at the same time, have prior, existing Wiki articles of their own. That seems rational and makes sense to me. It would be good if you could please come and dicuss this issue on the Karlal talk page, thank you. I would also please request that you, or anyone associated with you, kindly not re-add the removed names until we have resolved this matter, thanks again! :) Very good wishes 39.54.66.255 (talk) 06:34, 16 March 2012 (UTC)Prof Asad U Khwaja[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Hazara, Pakistan, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. bonadea contributions talk 05:07, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
