Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rikki Fulton, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gallowgate (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

VuTV page

[edit]

Hi, you indicated that you'd marked VuTV for speedy deletion as it's "promotional". Please can you be specific on what content is promotional? (Note that I'd only just created the page when you marked it for deletion, and since then a number of further edits have been made.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mpjalexander (talkcontribs) 18:01, 17 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not insert fringe or undue weight content into articles, as you did to Heart Scotland. An article should not give undue weight to any aspects of the subject but should strive to treat each aspect with a weight appropriate to its significance to the subject. Please use the article's talk page to discuss the material and its appropriate weight within the article. Thank you. 78.150.215.69 (talk) 12:47, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Heart Scotland

[edit]

Afternoon

Can you come onto the talk page of Heart scotland on how best to sort out, how best to add this information, I agree it should be added etc but we need to do it a better manner,

Please stop. Articles on Wikipedia do not give fringe material equal weight to majority viewpoints; content in articles are given representation in proportion to their prominence. If you continue in this manner, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. 78.150.215.69 (talk) 16:41, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. March 2018

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Rucka Rucka Ali, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Smtchahal (talk) 09:59, 25 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Read WP:OR, particularly WP:SYNTH. Also, The video was uploaded to a lot of online praise from his fans who were able to relate to similar experiences of loneliness, depression and mental health making Ali more relatable as someone who suffers issues themselves. is supported by what source, exactly? Smtchahal (talk) 10:11, 25 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

- video commenters on said video - exactly! not exactly difficult to go look at the video, its content and the comments --KaraokeMac (talk) 10:13, 25 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

YouTube comments cannot be taken as a reliable source – anyone can post a YouTube comment, it's crowd-sourced. If you have a news publication that wrote about this or something similar, feel free to add it again with a citation. But do read this guideline on reliable sources, and take the time to familiarize yourself with what are and aren't considered reliable sources. Smtchahal (talk) 10:16, 25 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Oliver tree

[edit]

I have moved this page to Draft:Oliver Tree, you can work on it there and submit it for publication via WP:AFC. Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 08:42, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Also note the article is not being deleted. I did initially tag it for deletion, but on reflection I decided that an "up and coming" rapper may well be more widely covered in reliable sources in the foreseeable future. The redirect from the main article to the draft area (created by me) will still be deleted. The article is located at Draft:Oliver Tree. Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 08:52, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Oliver tree

[edit]

Hello, Karaokemac. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Oliver tree".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Dolotta (talk) 14:27, 7 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Frantone Electronics

[edit]

Hello Karaokemac, I wanted to alert you that I've removed the list of products that you added to Frantone Electronics. Per WP:NOTBROCHURE, the page cannot serve as a catalog for all of the products produced by Fran in the style that you had written it, especially being unsourced in its entirety. That's not to say that the products can't be mentioned, or even that there can't be a list of them, but they'd need to be formatted in a way that was not analogous to an advertisement, and preferably would also consist of properly cited information to verify notability or pertinence of a given product. If you take issue or have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out. /Tpdwkouaa (talk) 04:12, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
