Unspecified source for Image:Eraback2.GIF

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Eraback2.GIF. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fritz S. (Talk) 14:15, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Complaint on edit-warring in Template:Manila landmarks

[edit]

Hi. Your edits on Template:Manila landmarks have been disruptive, particularly your reverts on church landmarks. Old Roman Catholic churches have names and are unrecognizable without their Basilica, Cathedral, or Parish tags. Moreover, this creates confusion with populated place names when they are titled simply by their district/city location. --RioHondo (talk) 08:52, 11 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Common sense dude. Names in the church category are inferred to as churches not places. Please don't own this template. Don't even try to remove Manila Zoo! --Kapuso (talk) 08:58, 11 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Of course, Manila is automatically assumed as the cathedral in Intramuros and not the city or any other church in the city. Big difference between a church and a cathedral. Moreover, we make use of actual WP titles in templates for recognizability. An RM can be made in their individual talk pages however if you insist on those title changes. --RioHondo (talk) 09:13, 11 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of loanwords in Tagalog, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Antenna (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:34, 2 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

March 2019

Information icon Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to De La Salle Green Archers. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. -WayKurat (talk) 05:27, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
