Deletion discussion about Maclaine Diemer
[edit]Hello, Kantoon0805,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Glane23 and it's nice to meet you :-)
I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Maclaine Diemer should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Maclaine Diemer .
You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Glane23}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

- Hi! I saw the deletion nomination and wanted to give you some general advice. The main thing to do at this point in time is to find where Diemer has been covered in independent and reliable sources. Keep in mind that notability is not automatically inherited by him working on a notable series or with a major company - the sources are definitely needed. As far as the awards go, those depend greatly on whether that was a group award or if he was specifically named in the award. For example, an award given to everyone who worked on the game for the sound is something that will be hard to really assert notability for - however if the award specifically has his name on it (ie, it was given directly to him or he was one of 2-3 people who were named on the award) then that could be easier to assert. - Something else I wanted to let you know about - this page goes over what websites and outlets would be seen as a reliable source on Wikipedia and which would not. It's not a completely exhaustive list, but it's a good place to start and check sources against. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:20, 27 June 2019 (UTC)
@Geoff: I have just finished checking most of the sources. Most of them are listed as "Reliable" on the article you linked me. The ones that weren't I removed them and found alternative sources instead. TenTonHammer and MMOBOMB aren't listed at all though.
Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help prevent the article from deletion.
