A tag has been placed on File:1412510710384 wps 16 put 9in the system at the.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello Kanakvii, I hope your WikiEd course is going well! Since you requested help determining the copyright status of this image, I'll explain why I decided to tag it for deletion. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, but there are a few simple guidelines to follow when determining whether you can use an image. The most important thing to remember is that every image needs a source and a license. You provided a source for the image, which helped me investigate the copyright status. For licensing purposes, all content fits into two categories: free, or non-free. Free content is content that the author has released so that anyone can use it for any reason, can make changes to the content, and can redistribute the content however they would like. Unless we are absolutely sure that content is free, we must assume it is non-free. Because Wikipedia aims to have content that can be shared and edited by all, we try to avoid using non-free content wherever possible. Sometimes, there is no other option, however. Non-free content that meets certain criteria can be used on Wikipedia articles, provided that a rationale explaining how it meets the criteria is provided. If you need help with an image, feel free to ask me at my talk page or at the media copyright questions page. Happy editing, and good luck with your course! --AntiCompositeNumber (Leave a message) 22:49, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
