Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Kaleontologist12. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page 2021 New Jersey gubernatorial election, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. —twotwofourtysix(My talk page and contributions) 05:42, 20 September 2021 (UTC)

July 2022
[edit]Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to 2022 United States Senate election in North Carolina. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Bettering the Wiki (talk) 23:11, 8 July 2022 (UTC)
- I apologize, I acknowledged that fact, which is why I eliminated a comment which did include a more biased tone. I mentioned controversy but the events stated were cited. Factual information of events that did occur. Recordings exist of phone calls made and there are electoral documents showing the outcome of the events. I believe that they should be included in the page at the very least as this is something important within the election. Perhaps sources on both perspectives of this issue can be cited.
