A tag has been placed on Kalebchannels, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. A tag has been placed on Super Kaleb, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Realkyhick 03:44, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Red the Tiger

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Red the Tiger, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Realkyhick 03:45, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop with your self-promoting articles

[edit]

Please stop posting articles promoting your (apparently non-functional) game site. Promotional articles such as these are considered blatant advertising, which violates Wikipedia policies and will be deleted. Repeated violations will result in your being blocked from editing. Asking you about the Deletion of ===Super Kaleb=== and Red the Tiger.

[edit]

Your original message:

Sir, I understand that you are trying to do your job, but I don't understand something. You said that my article was blanatly advertising or something like that. You also said that Red the Tiger was unnoteable ( Did I spell it right?). Here are my complainants with those statements.
  1. The Super Kaleb article was doing the same thing as the Pac-Man article.
  2. The Pac-Man article never recieved a tag. In fact, many of game passages actually tell you how to beat this game, and some give you cheat codes. That is not fitting to be in a encyclopedia, but you left it.
  3. The Browser article does the same thing as my Red the Tiger article. It never received a tag.
I do have more complaints, but I have to go. Please mail me back at User:Kaleb parham.
First of all, I don't actually delete the articles. I mark them as probable candidates for deletion, but an administrator has to agree with me and actually remove the articles, and they did so very quickly. Second, your arguments don't even make sense. You're trying to justify the self-promotion of your web sites or games or whatever. Saying such-and-such article does the same thing as your article and it never got a tag is lame. It's like trying to compare apples and oranges. The comment about the Browser article makes absolutely no sense at all. You simply trying to promote something or someone, and that's not allowed at Wikipedia.
Saying that something is not notable means that it is too new or too small to have attracted any attention from other sources, or more likely can't even be proved to exist. Realkyhick 03:09, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
