Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Durgapur has an edit summary that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Thank you. Mako001 (talk) 08:03, 4 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Dassault Rafale, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Removal

[edit]

I removed the content from Dassault Rafale page as it is posing security threat on our country. Kalamastra (talk) 18:27, 5 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's published information, meaning it's already been released for public use. BilCat (talk) 18:47, 5 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding removal from Dassault Rafale page

[edit]
Moved from User talk:BilCat

Sir I removed that part from Dassault Rafale page as it poses a security threat for our country. By publishing the exact location of fighter jet of foreign origin you are leaking it. So, please don't interfere in it. Kalamastra (talk) 18:32, 5 December 2021 (UTC)

Content on Wikipedia is (supposed to be) supported by publicly available reliable sources. If content is properly supported, then it's not removed for "security leaks" or "plot spoliers", or other such concerns, as Wikipedia is WP:NOTCENSORED. - wolf 01:24, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
A military information about any foreign equipment can't be for public use. So, please don't unnecessarily argue. Kalamastra (talk) 14:45, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If you keep removing this after being told to stop, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. BilCat (talk) 19:02, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Why? Kalamastra (talk) 19:31, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Because Wikipedia's policies & guidelines say so. You've already tried to remove that information three times, which have been reverted by two editors (M.Bitton & Willondon), and you have two more editors explaining this to you on your talk page (with links included which you should read). The information is sourced, which is all that is really required. It's publicly available information, so any "security threats", real or imagined, are not a concern here. If you persist in blanking this information, you will be reported and likely blocked for edit warring (←read that link, as this post is also your notification about the edit warring policy and a warning for you to stop.)

So far your edits appear to be disruptive and indicative of a single purpose account that is not here to build an encyclopaedia. I have added a "welcome" template at the top of this page. I strongly encourage you to read through it and all the links it contains so that you can learn to be a more productive editor. I also suggest you let this issue at the Rafale page go. But if must pursue it, then do so properly and go to dispute resolution, instead of repeatedly disrupting that article. Thank you - wolf 19:28, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detectedthat when you recently edited Durgapur, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Komatsu. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 15:09, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

February 2024

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Arjayay. I noticed that you recently removed content from Malda, West Bengal without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - Arjayay (talk) 10:37, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Malda, West Bengal, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 10:37, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sir sorry for it. Actually the size of the city is much bigger than written there. So, I changed it. The original size of Malda City is 206 km sq approximately. I only highlighted that. Kalamastra (talk) 16:23, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Malda, West Bengal, you may be blocked from editing. - Arjayay (talk) 17:03, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sir I haven't add anything from the unsourced data. It is given in Wikipedia only. Check Malda Sadar subdivision page before giving me any allegations. Kalamastra (talk) 17:25, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, sorry; you cannot use Wikipedia as a reliable source! You need to find independent reliable sources in order to add or modify content in any of our articles. Please read WP:RS, WP:V. Ekdalian (talk) 07:20, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

April 2024

[edit]

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to Durgapur appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 14:39, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I just wanted to add more information about my city. I just wanted the page about my city to look like Siliguri or Kolkata or any other big city. Kalamastra (talk) 14:45, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Durgapur, you may be blocked from editing.
You have repeatedly been warned about making unsourced additions and changes above, but are still making them. Please stop. - Arjayay (talk) 14:39, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Siliguri. - Arjayay (talk) 15:04, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

May 2024

[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia.
Hi, you have already been warned of disruptive edits earlier. Please stop making disruptive edits or unsourced edits as you did at List of million-plus urban agglomerations in India despite reverting the same earlier. Thanks! Magentic Manifestations (talk) 04:09, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What disruptive edit did I do? Howrah city is also a million plus urban agglomeration. Check it. I am warning you, don't come in my way, or else I will be forced to take action against you.
Thank you Kalamastra (talk) 05:23, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

June 2024

[edit]

Stop icon You made two edits to the article on Asansol. They changed area and population of the metropolitan area. I checked the citation for the information you changed; it supported the old numbers. So I have reverted back to the old version. Please read WP:VERIFY. Readers need to be able to check that the information in Wikipedia comes from a reliable source. When you changed the numbers, you went against that policy. If you want to change the numbers, you need to provide a citation to a reliable source that supports your numbers.-- Toddy1 (talk) 11:10, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
