Restoring an article
[edit]Well... the article had several issues. The first was that the article had no reliable sources (WP:RS) that asserted notability for the company. I saw a primary source (the website), but no coverage in sources such as news articles about the company. It also didn't help that the article was copyvio from the company's website. (WP:COPYVIO) Even if you represent the company and they're willing to submit a ticket that essentially gives up all rights to the wording as fair use, the tone of the article was very promotional and wasn't neutrally written. That's fine for their website, but not for a Wikipedia article. (WP:NPOV)
I did a search to see if there was anything out there for this company and ultimately there wasn't anything. They just haven't gotten any coverage. This doesn't mean that their company isn't successful- clearly it is, but success doesn't always translate to coverage in reliable sources. I just don't see where this company would pass notability guidelines any time soon. Since the content is already on the company's website, you already have a copy to pull from. What I'd suggest right now is trying to find coverage in reliable sources to show that the company would pass notability guidelines. This might take months or sometimes even years, but we have to have the coverage before the article is re-created. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 04:22, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
