Augustinian categories
[edit]- Hello, Kaklen,
- Why are you emptying out categories that have been around for 14 years? Please do not take it upon yourself to "restructure" an existing category hierarchy. Liz Read! Talk! 01:53, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
- I have reverted some of your edits. And, at times, I have reverted my own edits and gone back to your original edits!
- It is okay to refine and expand categories to be more accurate. But do not "empty out" categories out of process. This is considered disruptive as they are often part of a long-existing category structure that has stood the test of time. If you want a category renamed or deleted, propose it for discussion at Categories for Discussion. This is the proper way to delete a category, not by emptying it of its contents.
- The proper place to discuss any systemic restructuring like this is at Talk:Augustinians. Very few editors have category talk pages on their Watchlists so they would never have seen your comments there. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:55, 6 June 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Queering Wikipedia 2021 User Group Working Days: May 14–16
[edit]The Wikimedia LGBTQ+ User Group is holding online working days in May. As a member of WikiProject LGBT studies, editing on LGBTQ+ issues or if you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, come help us set goals, develop our organisation and structures, consider how to respond to issues faced by Queer editors, and plan for the next 12 months.
We will be meeting online for 3 half-days, 14–16 May at 1400–1730 UTC. While our working language is English, we are looking to accommodate users who would prefer to participate in other languages, including translation facilities.
More information, and registration details, at QW2021.--Wikimedia LGBT+ User Group 02:48, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
