Thank you very much. changes have been done. so its not copied anymore Kajol3000 (talk) 17:00, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I need to know how to request the article I corrected to be protected. It seems that some people keep changing that movie article (box office verdict) to misleading facts. Kajol3000 (talk) 17:02, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm, I'm not sure if it should be protected. Looking at the history, I see good and bad edits mixed together. You can put in a request here: Wikipedia:Requests for page protection and another administrator may help. My view is to wait a few days and see if the problem persists. If it does, I can protect it then. But feel free to make the request. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 17:09, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much Anna. I will wait as you suggested. while I was editing I noticed users changing the box office verdict of the movie to Hit. That film flopped and I provided referencing to the major box office site declaring it as a flop. Not sure why they wanted to mislead people! I will make a request in case there were violating changes. Thanks againKajol3000 (talk) 17:14, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. You are under no obligation to wait. You can request protection anytime. Rest assured, though, I am watching the page. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 17:25, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Anna, Thank you for your response and contribution. As you can see, some guys again tried to remove the facts so they can put their own misleading opinions. If you notice, the budget of the movie has been removed by them as well as the additions I have added which declares the movie as a flop at the Box office. They removed all the references to hide it from public!! Kajol3000 (talk) 19:32, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I also noticed another user under the name Kajol212 who reverted all the changes. As if she wanted to show herself as me!! I think they are trying to manipulate & hide the facts known about the movie. I hope you to help and reinstate the paragraph and the references I have provided earlier. The are much much more references that I can add at a later time. Thank you very much 19:48, 8 February 2014 (UTC)Kajol3000 (talk)

Protection of Dedh Ishqiya‎

[edit]

I've protected Dedh Ishqiya‎ for 2 weeks. Let's hope after that time, the article receives only constructive edits. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 01:34, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for doing so but there is another user named as Abhii who again deleted all the addition. He seems a fan of one of the actresses in the movie (Madhuri Dixit) and is trying to hide the box office verdict of the movie by removing the budget as well as the box office verdict and references. I could see Soham reinstated all the facts but Abhii again removed all that!! why these people want to manipulate the facts about a movie? I just cannot understand why they want to represent false info about something? Appreciate your cooperation Anna. You have been a great help here. Kajol3000 (talk) 19:53, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

After the removal of protection I can see people still try to add misleading information from unverifiable & unreliable fan sites

I am too busy off-Wikipedia to look into all the contribs and figure out what's going on. Please add the request to Wikipedia:RFPP and another admin will look into it. Sorry I can't be more helpful right now. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 12:33, 22 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • The film has flopped at the BO right? It should be correct because BOI.com says it to be. You're edits changed and you changed them again so why are you complaining? I see no reason to. Plus you're trying to assert the film has flopped so hard, you're using unreliable sources for it. That is called being biased/POV-pushing. Remain neutral. —Soham 13:23, 22 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thats correct. The film flopped but I have seen users changing it to above average or hit which is misleading. I'm not trying to assert the film flopped hard or succeeded or whatever. My intention is to have a clear, and reliable article where all people come and read the true facts. Before editing I have seen fans of the film or actors in the film changing the verdict to hit etc.. which is not true. they even changed the budget of the film to 15 crore. The film was made on 35 crore. these are not my opinions but facts most are aware with. Which sources are not reliable? If Hindustan times or Indicine or BOI are not reliable then there are no Indian sites reliable. Kajol3000 (talk) 13:44, 22 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Rest assured, if someone deliberately introduces factual error, I'll be there to revert. No worries regarding that. HT, BOI are reliable sites but not Indicine. —Soham 06:52, 23 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
One of you, I can't remember who, said that it was agreed upon somewhere that one of these sites is the only good source for Bollywood films. Please point me to the discussion. That could clear some things up. Many thanks, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 12:39, 23 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

See guys, Dedh Ishqiya's verdict has been changed again. All what I have added which showed the movie as flop was removed. Someone is trying hard to show the movie was successful at the box office by terming it average while it is clearly not. The budget also again changed to 15 crore!!Kajol3000 (talk) 09:44, 24 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There are so many reliable sources that tell you about Dedh Ishqiya's budget. this is from yahoo which states its cost production as 29 crore and additional 12 of marketing and promotion [1] as for the box office, box office India clearly stated it as a flop, so I dont see how would a flop become an above of average Kajol3000 (talk) 09:56, 24 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
