Kaiser, welcome to wikipedia. I have restored my comment which you deleted earlier from Talk:Charles Peirce. I assume you deleted it because I neglected to sign. Please note that this content is merged to this article as a result of a completed AfD, and I am assuming that it would be better for those with a knowledge of the subject to integrate it into the article. It is plagiarism to carry out a cut-and-paste operation that destroys the contribution history of the material used. There are procedures for doing a proper merge that preserves the contribution history. I think that it would be advisable to look into those. Kaiser Maxim 20:45, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- I am again re-inserting the material in question on this talk page. Please stop removing it. I have noted where the material came from (prescisive abstraction) and why it was merged to this page (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Prescisive abstraction). That is what is necessary, according to our page on merging (where cut and paste merges - although not moves - are recommended), in order to comply with the GFDL. In what way is it "plagiarism to carry out a cut-and-paste operation that destroys the contribution history of the material used", when the references to the material are transported as part of the merge? The only way of transferring from one article to another and retaining the edit history is by a page move.
