[edit]Hello, I'm Cyphoidbomb. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to List of programs broadcast by Cartoon Network Arabic because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Diff: [1] Though the majority of your contribution appears to improve the article, your editorial statement "This show was Cancelled due to an extreme case of butt-hurt" is inappropriate. Please be sure your contributions are written in a tone appropriate for an encyclopedia, and please do not include editorial commentary. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:16, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
May 2015
[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at List of programs broadcast by Cartoon Network Arabic. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Diff: [2] Your reversion is unexplained, and you are restoring unsourced content. If you are taking responsibility for reinstating that content, per WP:BURDEN you must provide references to support it. Until that time, the content will be removed per WP:V, and please do not resubmit it without providing valid references for the lot of it. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:05, 6 May 2015 (UTC)
Edit warring
[edit]You need to stop edit warring. I've only asked you to provide an actual reference. If you don't know how to do that, see WP:REFB. But if you resubmit the same unsourced content again and again, without providing references and without discussing on the talk page, at some point your edits will be considered disruptive and that point is with your next edit. Provide sources for ALL the content you are submitting, or I will seek other remedies to prevent your unsourced changes. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:45, 6 May 2015 (UTC)
Format munging
[edit]Did you preview your recent edits at CN Arabic before you committed them? You need to find a better way to incorporate those references, since they've munged the page formatting. Also, these are ephemeral references with no year on them. Will they be accessible down the road? Who knows. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:17, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
- @Cyphoidbomb Yeah but you know , the difference between you and me is that I have the channel and you don't , I record the promos and post them here and You don't , I don't want to post false informations why would I do that , I just want to correct and update a wiki article about CN Arabia , A channel i follow since 2011 , YOu wanted references , I gave you references , Youtube mentions the date of when the video was uploaded , if i upload a video that means i got it from the channel . it's a direct source .
- They're the only ones available if you don't like them it's your problem .
- 1) You've munged the article formatting. You should fix it. 2) Your YouTube videos cannot be used as references since they likely present copyright violations and would otherwise qualify as original research. So no, it's not *my* problem—I can always remove them. The links to the CN Arabic programming page are fine, but as I've articulated, these programming schedules tend to change. You might consider using archive snapshots to supplement these references. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:45, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
