Proposed deletion of D3 security

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article D3 security, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Self-sourced. Reference does not mention this company. Notability not actually asserted, but may not qualify for CSD. Erring on the side of caution.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit]

Could you check on this reference please: http://www.gartner.com/resources/147600/147654/introduction_to_investigativ_147654.pdf It appears to be a dead link. Thank you. Wperdue (talk) 19:09, 9 June 2009 (UTC)wperdue[reply]

D3 Security Management

[edit]

There are some issues I see with the references you've added - the first one is ok, but it isn't sufficient. The second is a customer report on what they use (which will not qualify per WP:RS), the third is a dead link and I wasn't able to find this on Gartner's site. To show notability, you'll have to get a few more references like the first per WP:N policy. Hope this helps. Also, when adding a message to anyone's talk page, it's best to add messages at the bottom. Happy editing. -SpacemanSpiff (talk) 16:42, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
