Why use estimated data for poverty figures on Economy of India
Hi, I noticed your recent edits on the aforementioned page and you seem to be using estimates by the World Bank for poverty figures. Why so? The usage of actual data should be preferred instead of extrapolations, however reliable or accurate. Kindly explain your rationale! Prolix 💬 06:38, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Prolix: Because the latest data from the NSO is from 2011. KREOH (talk) 08:04, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
- KREOH, I see, I'm still unsure of whether we should use only the estimates. Maybe the NSO data could be included alongside. If anything, they'll probably provide an easy way to gauge any increase or decrease. Prolix 💬 12:56, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
