[edit]Hey, You submitted a draft, Draft:Luda Diatchenko for review, I'm currently reviewing your submission but I found that, there's an another page Luda Diatchenko already exists in our record. You've published an article recently and then now I received an another draft submission with the same name.
Thanks & Regards. Albertx07 (talk) 10:31, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your message.
- The current Luda Diatchenko is really a small subset of the more extensive Draft:Luda Diatchenko.
- So I was hoping that following the review process that the current article Luda Diatchenko would be replaced by Draft:Luda Diatchenko?
- Would that be acceptable?
- Thank you KJHYT2983G? (talk) 12:57, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, it can be replaced.
- I will move back this article Luda Diatchenko to draft space. Albertx07 (talk) 14:09, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
- Just to be clear I would like the current Draft:Luda Diatchenko to be moved to Luda Diatchenko
- Not the other way around KJHYT2983G? (talk) 14:13, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah, I just filed a proposal to the administrators to delete that artice available in main space!
- We have to wait for Administrator's response, after deletion of that article, will move your article to main space.
- Thanks & Regards! Albertx07 (talk) 14:40, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
- done, your draft article moved to main space, thanks for your contribution to Wikipedia, add more citations to the article.
- Thanks & Regards! Albertx07 (talk) 15:00, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
- You must visit to Draft:Luda Diatchenko11 contest in Speedy deletion process and send a valid reason to Administrator, for deletion of article. Luda Diatchenko is moved to main space. Albertx07 (talk) 15:22, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
- Do I need to request that Draft:Luda Diatchenko11 be deleted or has this process already been initiated? KJHYT2983G? (talk) 17:41, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
- Draft:Luda Diatchenko has been moved out of Luda Diatchenko by an admin, why is that?
- The request is for moving Draft:Luda Diatchenko to Luda Diatchenko
- The criterion for speedy deletion is that Luda Diatchenko is essentially contained within Draft:Luda Diatchenko
- There is no reason to keep Luda Diatchenko as is since Draft:Luda Diatchenko is a more complete version.
- Thank you KJHYT2983G? (talk) 18:31, 7 June 2024 (UTC)

- KJHYT2983G, if you believe that you can provide a better version of an article than the existing one, then the most straightforward method is to edit the article; it is not necessary to delete it and then replace it with a new one. If, however, you do think that there's a good reason why an article should be deleted, you need to use one of the three accepted methods of seeking deletion: proposed deletion, a deletion discussion, or speedy deletion using one of the criteria authorised in the speedy deletion policy. I am sure that Albertx07 was acting in perfectly good faith, but they were mistaken in thinking that a suitable approach was to move the existing article to draft space and then request speedy deletion of it for a reason which is not one of the recognised speedy deletion criteria. Also, if by "Luda Diatchenko is essentially contained within Draft:Luda Diatchenko" you mean that the one version contains material from the other version, then the first version absolutely must not be deleted, because doing so would remove the editing history, which needs to be kept for attribution of the content to its authors; removing it would infringe their copyright.
