Re: Barbara Biggs
Hi Justen,
We had issues with my listing last year. I was concerned that men's rights groups were tampering with my listing.
It's been fine for a while now, however I haven't actually looked at it for many months. I now see that the very first paragraph has had a (dubious) notice posted. This is in reference to me having been a staff journalist for the Sunday Herald Sun newspaper.
The effect of this at the beginning of the listing is to cast suspicion on the entire content to the casual user/observer, whether or not this was intended, which I suspect it was.
Since it is a minor detail, I'd be happy to have this removed entirely - leaving the references to the publications I've contributed to. I did manage to find one finance one too but again put online by a company the article was about I suspect http://www.businessangels.com.au/art6.php
However, here are some links which reference my time at the Sunday Herald Sun newspaper:
http://www.hosking.net/stretch/sunday.htm
http://www.jackopie.com.au/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=8&Itemid=26

http://www.ausstage.edu.au/indexdrilldown.jsp?xcid=59&f_item_cat_id=36043
More articles are not available since the SHS was not online at that time and did not keep electronic copies of the paper. The links above are mainly for theatre reviews which have been sourced and I imagined paid for by the actors, directors or theatre companies to promote their work. Nobody, it seems, has collected news articles I wrote during my time on the paper which are freely available online. They are available on paid search sites.
I could pay to access this information and links, which I have investigated, but I'd be just as happy to have the reference removed altogether. I'm not sure if I paid any casual user would be able to access them through wikipedia in any case.
If you're able to help in this regard, I'd appreciate it. I'm not allowed to change the page since it's about me.
Thanks
