Goose Lake
[edit]Hi. Were you the original creator of the article? If so, I suspect but dont know for sure that the reason there is no fishing in the lake is due to the the fact that it's alkaline. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather 21:28, 5 October 2005 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Goose Lake.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Goose Lake.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. Stan 13:00, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
Rolando Hinojosa
[edit]Thank you for starting the article. It has been on my to-do list for quite some time. Please go back and add in some categories as soon as you get a chance; every article should be in at least one. Also, if you are interested in Mexican American topics, please consider joining our project-- we need all the help we can get! Thanks again and happy wiki-ing, --Rockero 08:12, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Supervenience editing
[edit]Hi Jyoshimi. Thanks for your work at Supervenience, which I think is quite valuable. My editing there is just to tweak things for even more rigour and clarity. Often it helps to have another editor who is familiar with the topic doing a "second polishing" like that, and it certainly doesn't reflect badly on the first editor's efforts! I'll be happy to keep collaborating, if more needs to be done. You are closer to the details in the literature than I am, I think. Let's discuss points at the talk page for the article, if that seems necessary – or here, or at my page. For the moment I prefer not to communicate by email, though I may want to do that later. All the best to you. – Noetica 22:49, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
