[edit]What do I need to do to have a Wikipedia entry appear on Google Earth?
I'd truly appreciate any help with this matter.

- I'm not sure what you mean. John Reaves (talk) 07:00, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- Google Earth does parse Wikipedia entries for coordinate data. I don't know exactly how they go about parsing the data, or how often they send a crawler to update. If I had to guess, they probably check tranclusions of one or more of the various {{coor}}-style templates. – Luna Santin (talk) 07:08, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
That's my assumption, too. I placed the 'coordinates code' in the article for which I want an icon to appear in Google Earth. Given this is the correct way to go about it, I'm also assuming it will take some time to catalog--just wanted to ensure this is the correct method.
Appreciate the help! Jwmorris 07:18, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
The file File:Pvdr sign sm.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:02, 17 January 2020 (UTC)
