In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Re:Question about a List
[edit]The best thing to do is to look at current FLs and see how you can adapt and improve on that model. For example, List of United States Naval Academy alumni. The lead in that article starts out with a basic introduction to the school, which would probably be the best way to go with the lead. As for the notability column, I think for now, you should go with a bit more detail and then trim it down as needed. But, try to have more detail on things that relate more to the school or their degree. In the example you cited, I would go with "Alumni X represented the 18th congressional district of Pennsylvania and earned a Congressional Medal of Honor" because he served a district in Pennsylvania, so it relates more to the school. -- Scorpion0422 02:50, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
