nationality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please add nationality to the articles about humans that you create or edit. In an Encyclopedia is not written anywhere that people must be American or English or what. Thanks!!! Attilios 21:14, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

Hi. I've noticed your recent work on the michigan and big ten articles in general, and was wondering if you'd be interested in joining the Big Ten WikiProject. Optimost
The article Optimost has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 18:06, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Optimost, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please do not recreate this page if it is deleted. Seinfreak37 17:14, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

Some thoughts
Most people have a habit of barking orders on here, you might want to open discussion with people rather than ordering people to do something. Secondly, this is not something an admin needs to be brought into deal with if you have not entered into a discussion about it. Perhaps you should see a discussion on the topic. It somewhat died in the middle of it, but was at WP:CFB. Being "clunky" is not an excuse for ambiguity. The sport is defined on here as American football. Someone looking at the article who is not american would most likely read it as Michigan Wolverines "Soccer". It is american football, not football. I wouldn't argue that the soccer pages (if there are any) need to be changed to football because their is no question as to what soccer is. The fact that it is called something entirely differnt makes that possible. Jmfangio| ►Chat 03:29, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- The Templates for undoing those moves are at WP:RM. You can actually look under the "uncontroversial" section. I will be happy to provide a list of all the articles if that helps the process. You can also look at my move history if that's easier for you. Jmfangio| ►Chat 05:24, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
College talk pages fixed
Thanks for the head's up. I had the box checked to move the talk pages, but I guess when there was a second warning page about deleting the target page it kept that from happening. --Bobak 20:01, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of LSU Athletic Hall of Fame
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article LSU Athletic Hall of Fame, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.--..BlackThorTalk • Contribs 09:26, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Have you seen WP:LEAD. What about the leads of WP:FA articles such as Tyrone Wheatley? There is no indication in policy that a one paragraph lead of four sentences is at all appropriate for anything but a stub article. Unless you are advocating that the article be replaced with at stub, your comment makes no sense. This is the type of lead that summarizes the main body content, which is far above stub-class.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 22:04, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
Big Ten category
I see that you recently emptied Category:Big Ten champion seasons by moving articles into Category:Big Ten Conference football champion seasons. I have declined your speedy deletion request because you did not follow the appropriate category renaming process; instead, I have listed the renaming for discussion on CFD, where you are welcome to comment. As I note there, my concern is purely procedural; I have no objection to the renaming on the merits. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 14:58, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

SEC awards
Do you think you should add Southeastern Conference football individual awards to Template:College Football Awards in its sketchy state?--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 07:15, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
- Keep up the good work on the conference awards. Are you going to do all the BCS? Mid Majors? all of them? I personally might stop with the ACC, but guess WAC, CUSA, Mountain West might be worth doing.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:49, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the compliments. There actually already is a page for the ACC. I discovered yesterday that someone had recently created an article for the ACC Offensive Player of the Year, so I re-purposed it to encompass all of the ACC awards: Atlantic Coast Conference football honors. I still have yet to flesh it out. I've been thinking about creating pages for the five non-BCS FBS conferences, but I think it might make the best sense to arrive at some sort of standard format for what we have so far before we create more. The Big 12, Big Ten, and SEC, which I created, are bulleted lists. The ACC, Big East, and Pac-10, created by others, employ tables of one form or another. The Pac-10 article lists all of the player awards in one table whereas all the other pages treat each award separately. Do you have any thoughts about a standard format here? Jweiss11 (talk) 04:37, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- I kind of like the Pac-10 table. You can see players of the same era side-by-side.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 21:36, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
