As an additional note, it will help everyone if you communicate in English on this site. If you need to ask something and your English isn't that strong, perhaps ask at a wikiproject where people are likely to understand, such as Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Brazil. Hope this helps, CMD (talk) 18:37, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re the reversions you made at this article, you shouldn't just straight-revert without explanations. You will note I gave edit summaries in my edits. I'd be grateful if you could explain your edits or else self-revert some of your changes. Eldumpo (talk) 21:47, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at List of largest cities in Brazil shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. GiantSnowman 08:18, 14 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not just keep reverting edits without discussion. Please comment here or at article talk. The urban agglomerations are not sourced from the link you are adding, which is better for the cities section, whereas the source you're using for that is not in a list format. Eldumpo (talk) 20:08, 26 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Paulo Ribenboim, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Brazilian. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Images on Empire of Brazil

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Empire of Brazil. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.

Juniorpetjua, you may want that image in the article but you need to discuss why on the talk page. Other editors have reverted you and you must now discuss this, not edit war. A discussion has already been opened. Keep reverting, even once more, and you will be blocked. You have been warned before for edit warring, which should have been enough to change your behaviour - please heed the warning this time. Fences&Windows 19:48, 27 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Retirada de texto

[edit]

177.142.59.113 (talk) 10:43, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

[edit]

This is not the first time you push photos on the article about the Empire of Brazil, causing an edit war. Stop that. There are plenty of articles that need improvement. Try to work on them. --Lecen (talk) 02:58, 3 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Muito obrigado pelos seus comentários, o ataque em Santos de fato não foi em 1595, foi em algum ponto entre 1588 e 1591. Vou adicionar os eventos que você sugeriu. Ainda tem vários outros eventos que poderiam ser adicionados. PMLF (talk) 19:45, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Cambalachero. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Cambalachero (talk) 17:06, 13 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva

[edit]

Please stop edit-warring at Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. For example, we prefer to say that someone "stated" something rather than "claimed" something, as it is a more neutral form of language. And please don't reintroduce trivia of little or no relevance to an already long article. Edwardx (talk) 00:05, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries

[edit]

It would be very helpful to other editors if you used an edit summary. "It is good practice to fill in the edit summary field, as this helps others to understand the intention of your edit." - see Help:Edit summary. Thank you! Edwardx (talk) 00:11, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
