Finished Peer Review
[edit]Hello, I'm your information literacy classmate assigned to review your edits on the Baojuan article. Really good work! The review is here: User:Julianloll/Baojuan/Bokchoychoy_Peer_Review Bokchoychoy (talk) 22:44, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
WCI Peer Review
[edit]The lead paragraph starting off this article is a reasonable summary about what Baojuan is, what it consist of, and how it is recorded in the research. I think that it provides a good summary of what I am going to read but calling the stories of Baojuan "concerning suffering or apocalyptical scenarios" sounds a bit biased to me. I dont know anything about this subject but the wording of that statement sounded off. The second paragraph talks mostly about the timeline of Baojuan and how it developed over these periods which really sets off the balance of the article by leaving a whole paragraph talking solely on the timeline of the developent of the arts. But the last paragraph gives solid closure to the topic by discussing where it stands today and how it evolved into what it is known as today. I can see that there already are several sources related to researching about baojuan.

[edit]I thought you did a great job with your lead paragraph. You explained what Baojuan was about by summarizing what it is about and how information on it is found. I think you were pretty neutral however I would change the portion where you stated "suffering and apocalyptic scenarios" as it seems more like an opinion than neutral information. Your second paragraph was very strong you detailed the some of the history behind Baojuan and sectioned it by time periods within your paragraph. This made it easy to follow and understand the history behind Baojuan. It gave me a clear understanding of what Baojuan is and how it turned into what it is today. I also saw you have cited a number of reliable sources to back up your info on Baojuan and the history behind it. Good job on staying neutral within this portion of your writing.

Response to Peer Review
[edit]Thanks for reviewing my article on teaching philosophy! With your input, I added some information to the lead section about the growing importance and use of teaching philosophy statements in the hiring process. I also found an image of an early example of research on teaching philosophies which not only provided a good visual break in the article, but also gave me more content under a section I created on pedagogy. I think the article is looking more and more complete with these changes and I appreciate the input. CorrinBaker (talk) 16:56, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
