Hello

[edit]

I read your post on my talk page and I must admit that I was emotionally moved. It is very touching to hear that some 30 years after the events of the uprising there are people who still remember the events vividly. I myself am a student at the Polytechnic and during the years of my tuition I have felt the heavy legacy of that uprising.

But reading your post, also puzzled me. I really don't understand what it is that you want me to do to help you. Wikipedia is a "free encyclopedia that anyone can edit". That includes ...you! Go ahead and edit the article about the uprising, or the article about the junta, add those first hand memories of yours! Be Bold in editing! This is the way Wikipedia was built.

Of course I would be happy to assist you, if you would find any difficulties (in using the wiki software for instance). I also can promise that I will be there to defend your edits, if such a need arises. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help you edit the article. But please be brave and edit it yourself!
