Thank you for uploading Image:RSTees Sept 06.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

License tagging for Image:Past, present & future digging with shovels.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Past, present & future digging with shovels.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:06, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Groundbreakingsm.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Groundbreakingsm.jpg is a duplicate of an already existing article, category or image.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Image:Groundbreakingsm.jpg, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Framework for clarification

[edit]

Hi Judith: I have created a "framework for clarification" to help resolve the editorial conflicts at the Temple Shalom of Northwest Arkansas page, see Talk:Temple Shalom of Northwest Arkansas#Framework for clarification that should help deal with this. Thanks, IZAK (talk) 22:40, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Be a better Wikipedian

[edit]

Hi Judith: Thank you for contacting me, see my talk page, I have responded to your latest comments on my talk page in detail explaining some broader problems that impact your efforts. Since you are now more active on Wikipedia, it would be a very good idea for you to put a little information about your interests or anything you may like on your user page User:JudithRobinsonLevine as that creates a better "sense of community" and gives other editors some small sense of "where you are coming from" in very general terms. Also, it would be a good idea for you to activate your free "E-mail this user" feature that anyone can use to contact you if they come to your user or talk page and look at the "toolbox" on the left side of this page. You can activate this feature by clicking on the "my preferences" button at the top of this page. Wikipedia's E-mail system is confidential and works well especially if one wishes to have more private communications with other editors. If not, please Email me through my user page at [2]. Best wishes and Happy Purim. IZAK (talk) 09:22, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, IZAK, I really appreciate your kindness and support. I am very glad there are welcoming folks like you on WP. A person could get the idea that it is an exclusive club otherwise.JudithRobinsonLevine (talk) 06:15, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Judith: Wikipedia is not an exclusive club, it just takes a little getting used to, to the prevailing culture, and with well over a million articles written in about six years things have gotten a little more complex. Three or four years ago you would not have been gowing through this because Wikipedia was hungry for input from anyone, but as the volume of articles grows so does the need and the desire to cut many of them out and to abide by the never-ending rules that keep on sprouting up and growing so that even those of us who have been here for years (like myself, over five years already) find it impossible to know of and keep abreast of every last ruling, but that should never stop anyone from wanting to contribute. There are always many areas that need help. What else are you interested in, maybe edit and write something there for a while, and then get back to the synagogue article that is causing you grief. Stay in touch, IZAK (talk) 09:10, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, it is rather addictive. I went to the Lay Leaders site and found it to be exclusively Christian so I changed that to include all religions adding references to Hillel and the UUs... I'm fine with the Temple site. I just don't like the bickering and the name calling. Happy Purim right back atcha. Anyway, I have too many other things occupying my time right now to pay any more attention to it... will monitor, but at least it's not in a shambles now. Speedy deletion of Image:RSTeesSept06.jpg

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Image:RSTeesSept06.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is a redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:RSTeesSept06.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
