Welcome, and do ask for help if you need it

[edit]

Thanks for your edits adding information about Nigerian girls' schools. Unfortunately, some of your edits weren't sourced and others overwrote formatting, including previously existing references. Where I've found sources I've tried to add back in the information you wanted to add. However, I suggest - so that you don't waste time making edits which other editors then revert - that you gain familiarity with wikipedia before adding content. It is worth learning about the way to create links to other articles on wikipedia, as well as the way in which references need to be formatted. While the formatting conventions are still unfamiliar, one thing you can do is make suggestions on a page's talk page, to see what other editors think of the change you would like to make. It is often useful to use the preview button to check that the edit you have made has the effect you think it does. And if you make an edit which is unintentionally destructive, you can go to the History tab to see the edit you have made, and click to Undo it there. Finally, do remember that if you add information which is not sourced with a reference, it is likely to be removed.

Sorry if this sounds a lot to take in! If you would like help from other editors then please do ask. Editors at the Teahouse mentioned above will help, and you can also reply to me here, or leave a message for me at the bottom of my talk page at User talk:Dsp13. Best wishes, Dsp13 (talk) 02:58, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Oladayo Oluwole

[edit]

Hello Judgement1,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Oladayo Oluwole for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Oladayo Oluwole moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Oladayo Oluwole, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 20:19, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

When an article of yours is moved to your draft space the idea is for you to improve on the article and then preferably submit the article via WP:AFC, but what you aren’t allowed to do is to copy paste or move war it back into mainspace. Please consider this a friendly warning any further of this action of yours would be considered disruptive editing. Celestina007 (talk) 00:03, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
