Hello, I'm Bagumba. Your recent edit to the page Luc Mbah a Moute appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 05:36, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

March 2019

[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Draymond Green, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 02:06, 21 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Khapri Alston has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. 331dot (talk) 12:52, 23 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Highlights in basketball infobox

[edit]

Hi - thanks for improving player articles. I did want to point out a couple of things that aren’t included here (the point isn’t to list every honor, but the true highlights). First, a player making an all-tournament team is not listed, only if they are MVP of the event. For full seasons making an all-league team is listed, but not tournaments. Also, FIBA championships/team results don’t go in the highlights list, medals are shown in the medal table below. If a team didn’t medal or if the event is minor, it isn’t listed at all. Thanks. Rikster2 (talk) 12:27, 11 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Those college highlights for Mendez-Valdez - a college conference tourney championship and making the coaches all-star game - are NOT out in the infobox. This is consensus for college highlights. The only championships included for college are postseason (national title, NIT) Rikster2 (talk) 12:16, 12 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Khapri Alston

[edit]

So you are the ditor of Khapri Alston. I will ask permission to edit your page. Just search to the official page of Columbian Dyip. It states there that Khapri Alston is No. 25 in his stint as a Tsuper. Thank you. BVM Cabrera (talk) 03:41, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Favor

[edit]

I am not in favor of deleting the page of Khapri Alston. Other basketballers and fans need the infos about him. So please wikipedia do not delete the page. Thank you. BVM Cabrera (talk) 03:45, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Onus

[edit]

I reverted your most recent edit to Richard Hamilton (basketball). Not everything that is true necessarily belongs in Wikipedia. Per the policy WP:ONUS, it is your responsibility to establish consensus when it is constested. Also, the fact that you are seemingly grabbing these based on your own research from a stats site, as opposed to sources saying it was important, borders on violating the original research policy. A tag has been placed on Khapri Alston requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Khapri Alston. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Wilt Chamberlain, you may be blocked from editing. —Bagumba (talk) 14:43, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Jerry West, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Chris Banchero, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Alaska Aces (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Information icon Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Nick Nurse. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Per MOS:HEADING, a header is not in all caps e.g. "As head coach". Per MOS:CAPS, "champion" is a generic term and does not need capitalization. The meaning doesnt change if it's left in lowercase.Bagumba (talk) 03:29, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

David García Cabrera moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, David García Cabrera, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Basketball infobox and championship templates

[edit]

Please do not add scout tenures and championships to the infobox or add the associated templates to articles. The infobox club list only captures player and coach tenures (as full assistant or higher position). In general, it would be helpful if you could review the template documentation for the infobox, you are making a lot of errors. Rikster2 (talk) 11:31, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Magloire was not an assistant coach for the Raptors 2019 championship team, he held a nebulous job with the franchise. Your draft article, Draft:David García Cabrera

[edit]

Hello, Juan Miguel U. Palero. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "David García Cabrera".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Not sure where the ones you are changing are coming from, but for active players these should come from their current club. Ways to improve Magenta SportCup

[edit]

Hello, Juan Miguel U. Palero,

Thank you for creating Magenta SportCup.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article needs more references ... What is needed are references from significant coverage about the Magenta SportCup, and independent of it, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS; that is your guide. You may also read WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources. A more comprehensive guide is WP:SOURCES ... Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact referred to, that meet these tough criteria is likely to allow this article to remain. Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the topic is not suitable for inclusion. Kindly do the needful. Thank you.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Hello, Juan Miguel U. Palero,

Thank you for creating Jacob Bullock.

Ways to improve CBA Best Defender

[edit]

Hello, Juan Miguel U. Palero,

Thank you for creating CBA Best Defender.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article is missing prose, which means it fails notability for sports teams and player perfomances. Articles such as these should consist mainly of well-sourced prose, not just statistics and lists of players. WIKIPEDIA IS NOT A STATS DIRECTORY. See WP:NSEASONS for guidance. Failing this notability guide, this article may be redirected to the main team page.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Ways to improve Jaylon Scott

[edit]

Hello, Juan Miguel U. Palero,

Thank you for creating Jaylon Scott.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Three of these references are lists; they don't pass notability. The other references are little more than mentions.
What is needed are references from significant coverage about this player, and not their own words; in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS; that is your guide. Lists, Team rosters, pages listing matches and results, databases, Instagram, Facebook, none of these are reliable sources. (There have been changes to the notability guide for sports - see WP:NSPORT ) You may also read WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources. A more comprehensive guide is WP:SOURCES ... Providing sufficient references, ideally giving more information about this player, that meet these criteria is likely to allow this article to remain. Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that this article is not suitable for inclusion.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Ways to improve Jordan Talbert

Hello, Juan Miguel U. Palero,

Thank you for creating Jordan Talbert.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

The Eurobasket lists given in references are no longer an acceptable source. What is needed are references from significant coverage about this player, and not their own words; in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS; that is your guide. Lists, Team rosters, pages listing matches and results, databases, Instagram, Facebook, none of these are reliable sources. Ways to improve Andreas Pistiolis

[edit]

Hello, Juan Miguel U. Palero,

Thank you for creating Andreas Pistiolis.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article needs more references in order to provide significant coverage for this article. See WP:SIGCOV
References that have scores, lists, order of merit and video do not pass as reliable sources for WP:NSPORT. (There have been changes to the notability guide for sports - you may wish to read WP:NSPORT ) To meet notability requirements, one more reference with significant coverage will suffice. Thank you

Missing cite in Christian angelology

[edit]

The article cites "Klein 2018" but no such source is listed in the bibliography. Can you please add? Also, suggest installing a script to highlight such errors in the future. All you need to do is copy and paste importScript('User:Svick/HarvErrors.js'); // Backlink: [[User:Svick/HarvErrors.js]] to your common.js page. Thanks, Renata3 19:04, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Juan Miguel U. Palero. You've add the reference "De Viana 2022" to Aurora Quezon, but no such work is defined in the article. Could you add the required cite to the References section, or let me know what work this refers to? -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested transmissions °co-ords° 11:20, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again Juan Miguel U. Palero. You added "Everitt 2019" to Alexander the Great, same issue as last time. The work isn't defined in the article, and I can't find it anywhere else. Could you add the required cite, or let me know which work this is?
