Good Article nomination

[edit]

Hi! I'm extremely pleased that you wanted to continue editing and to also nominate your article for Good Article status. Something I wanted to make you aware of is that this process can take a fairly long time since the GA review process is always backlogged, so be aware that it can be anywhere from weeks to even a year for an article to get reviewed. The general expectation is that you will continue to monitor the review and that you'll fix any issues that are raised. (Just to make sure that you're aware that this will be a bit of a commitment!)

What I recommend in the meantime is to continue to review and refine the article. Compare it to other, similar articles like Canarsie, Brooklyn to see if there's anything in the article that needs to be fixed or added. Check to see if there's anything that needs to be sourced and find sourcing for the article. (There are unsourced statements - these will need to be sourced for it to pass GA review.) You also want to check to make sure that it's neutrally written and factual, plus that all of the sources are reliable and properly formatted. The criteria for Good Articles are here, which I definitely recommend reviewing.

I admittedly can't help you with everything as far as preparing this for GA review goes, but definitely let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:30, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Burgundy Street has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication that this street is notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ƒirefly ( t · c ) 18:03, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
