Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Monsanto, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:37, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 22:26, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just added the welcome template

[edit]

I added a welcome template that I find to be a great starting place for learning the ropes here. No one expects you to sit down and read every single policy before editing, but I find that it's nice to have a place with a list of useful links to use as reference. Cheers, OhNoitsJamie Talk 23:24, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

To help get your started, I added a "stub" for the Anniston issue on the Monsanto article. I don't think it's appropriate to put it under "Crimes," as I can't find any references to criminal charges (though there have been successful civil cases brought against Monstanto). However, it is certainly approriate in the "environmental" section. OhNoitsJamie Talk 23:33, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
