If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Johns Hopkins Program in Film and Media Studies requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. QVVERTYVS (hm?) 22:32, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Linda Delibero

[edit]

The article Linda Delibero has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't see of note outside her own city

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Request reason:

Dear Wikipedia, I have been reading the chains involved with the deletion of professor Delibero and if I had known any of this was going to happen I would not have made the page. I tried to make a Film and Media Studies page a few months ago; that was deleted but I wasn't blocked for attempting it! I have been active on editing and improving the Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars page. I am not sure my error here and I have seen some ugly accusations against people that I dont' know. I don't know Michael Schmidt for example or anyone else. I have not said anything ugly so I'm not sure what happened. I had someone ask me on my talk if I work at JHU and then all of a sudden I am am unable to edit anything. I have been a good editor for many months. If you tell me what I cannot do I will not do it. I will stick to movies. --Jpeeps (talk) 18:11, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

It was kind of Mr. Bbb23 to fix your formatting error; I notice you've made that same mistake in your last four unblock requests with other socks. In reviewing the rest of the material, I also conclude that this is a sock account of the editor named in the investigation linked in your block message. Please, use your original account to make any future unblock requests. Kuru (talk) 18:27, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
